The author asked ChatGPT to help design a text-based MUD with AI characters. The screenshot shows its suggestions: instead of adding many rooms, populate existing locations — including Mira, an existing LLM courier NPC who can accept errands and deliver items, and Sable, a new meticulous skyport registrar NPC with a fixed backstory. It also suggests reusing a brass token as the test parcel. The author jokes the character names look a tad ominous.
