Citing an SEC filing, a developer notes Anthropic has committed up to $120.5 billion in compute payments through 2029, up from the $84.5 billion figure leaked during the S-1 draft stage.
The poster also pushes back on claims that Grok's Claude Code spend signals inference demand: companies like xAI use models served in their own Memphis data centers and don't pay retail rates, so such usage says nothing about data-center inference capacity.
