Film director vibe-codes a 30-minute horror game entirely with Claude
ArkhamDreamerZero · reddit · 2026-11-03
A career film director shares his first vibe-coding project: starting from a single prompt with Claude, the initial 5-minute build was rough but playable. Through continuous conversational iteration — feeding visual references, tweaking level design and mechanics, directing the narrative — he expanded it into a 30-minute game with a full story that is genuinely scary and fun.
All code and logic were written in Claude; sprites were generated and refined with ChatGPT. He describes it as "directing a game the way I'd direct a film," and shares before/after screenshots of the visual evolution.
