Open-Source Video Frame Sync Fixes Dropped/Duplicate Frames in AI-Generated Video
pftq · reddit · 2026-11-03
Reddit user pftq released the open-source tool Video Frame Sync, which aligns two videos that should be identical but have drifted apart due to framerate differences or dropped/duplicate frames. This is especially useful for "edited" outputs from AI generation sites like Seedance, which often introduce such frame issues. The tool can also interpolate (old-fashioned, non-AI) between existing frames to smooth over missing ones.
