Alchemy open-sources an agent-friendly test runner built to replace vitest
samgoodwin89 · x · 2026-11-03
Alchemy released the internal test runner they vibe coded to replace vitest, which wasn't working well for their agents. Design choices for agent consumption: each test pass/fail emits as one line, error logs don't interleave, and the output always ends with a link to a file containing all logs so agents can grep through them. The format serves both humans and agents from a single output.
