Alchemy released 2.0.0-beta.85 with a batch of substantial updates:
- Effect 4.1 support, tracking latest releases with a weekly release cadence
- Alchemy Domain event replay; domain models can now auto-serve as an HTTP API, an MCP server for agents, or a CLI, with per-deployment control over what's exposed
- DNS adapters for cross-cloud deploys: manage DNS in a different cloud, with AWS↔GCP bindings using OIDC identity federation for keyless auth
- Rewritten AWS state store on DynamoDB (S3 fallback for large files): 200-270x faster plans (250-resource plan drops from 21.6s to 0.08s), with alchemy state migrate and --rollback commands
- Alchemist: a headless programmatic API exposing plan/apply/drift detection for building custom CLIs and UIs
- GCP Cloud Run redesign for sidecar setups, supporting both regular images and Effectful Containers
- Improved story testing with clearer failure output to steer agents
Over 95 bug fixes and small features in total.
