Community builds a visual layout editor for Moss-Image's pixel-perfect JSON prompts
jambavant · reddit · 2026-11-03
Moss-Image can generate pixel-perfect layouts from JSON prompts, with the intended workflow of feeding its docs to an LLM to write the prompt. Reddit user jambavant built a standalone Layout Editor (with an optional SwarmUI extension) instead: a simple HTML page that works both ways — design boxes from scratch and copy the JSON prompt, or paste an LLM's JSON and refine it manually. It handles comics, reference sheets, magazine covers and posters with strong multi-character and text control, auto-resizes boxes to image resolution, and includes keyboard shortcuts. It starts to break past 10 characters with concept bleed.
