ryanshrout · x · 2026-11-03
Intel has released the 0.9 version of its 14A process design kit (PDK), giving foundry customers a more mature, silicon-validated environment for designing on the Intel 14A node. Analyst Patrick Moorhead calls it a big deal: Intel's foundry wafer future hinges on 14A's success and subsequent improvements toward PDK 1.0 and high-volume manufacturing readiness.
