Developer vibe-codes his own trading terminal to ditch TradingView's attention traps
builderjaydub · x · 2026-11-03
A developer argues most trading apps are built to grab attention and push you into over-trading, so he vibe-coded his own terminal with just the right amount of information.
Screenshots show a multi-ticker candlestick dashboard (SOXX, GOOGL, AMZN, AAPL, TSM, etc.) plus a watchlist table with 1D/7D moves, sigma deviation, market cap and position cost. He kept only a minimal indicator set he actually uses — MA, Fib and sigma levels — with custom layouts, and says goodbye to TradingView.
