Augmentic debuts photoreal robot simulation, rendering Isaac Sim G-buffers into realistic frames
Scobleizer · x · 2026-11-03
Startup Augmentic introduced its first step toward photoreal robot simulation: a model trained to take G-buffers from simulators like Isaac Sim and render photorealistic frames. The pitch: robots are still mostly tested on real hardware because simulators don't look real enough to trust, and a hyper-realistic sim stack would let robots be trained and tested in sim before touching the real world. First results shared in thread.
