Nina Miolane announced that the UCSB Geometric Intelligence Lab is recruiting PhD students for Fall 2027. Research directions include predictive mathematical laws of intelligence across brains and machines, what makes AI safe vs unsafe, and how brains achieve intelligence with energy efficiency.
