UCSB Geometric Intelligence Lab recruiting PhD students for Fall 2027 on the math of intelligence

Nina Miolane is recruiting PhD students to the UCSB Geometric Intelligence Lab for Fall 2027. The pluridisciplinary team—physicists, neuroscientists, statisticians, mathematicians and computer scientists—uses geometry, topology and group theory to understand how neural networks learn to solve tasks. Applicants can join via UCSB's ECE, CS, Math or DYNS programs.
