French search engine ibou launches a web search API for LLMs and agents
IgorCarron · x · 2026-11-03
French search engine ibou has launched ibou Platform, a web search API designed for grounding LLMs and powering AI agents, built entirely in France — its crawler, index, and ranking are all developed and hosted domestically.
The API returns structured results (host, URL, title, snippet, and extracted passages) usable for grounding, agent tooling, and monitoring apps. Search is French-only for now; a call costs about 3 units, with 100 free units on signup and no credit card required.
