12-year DeepMind veteran departs to join Jeff Dean's new venture DiscoLoopAI

A researcher who spent nearly 12 years at Google DeepMind announced his departure, saying "we now know how to build AGI, even if we don't fully understand it yet." He is joining DiscoLoopAI, Jeff Dean's new company, alongside Jeff Dean, Oriol Vinyals, Sanjay Ghemawat and Quoc Le, to point AI at the discoveries the world needs most.
