Developer Daniel vanstrien re-OCR'd 14,483 pages of fossil fuel industry documents (from the UCSF Industry Documents Library) using Saturate, his library for batch-running models over a dataset or bucket against any OpenAI-compatible endpoint/inference engine. The run used a single GPU, cost just $1.47, and hit 8.9 pages/sec with concurrency auto-settling at 512. He also demoed a one-command 10-page OCR job (5 min) on Hugging Face Jobs.
