GitHub makes Agentic Workflows GA: Markdown becomes Actions YAML with sandboxed read-only agents
AIFlow_ML · x · 2026-11-02
GitHub has officially made Agentic Workflows generally available. Developers write a Markdown file, which is turned into Actions YAML, and a coding agent runs it read-only inside a sandbox.
Every write operation goes through pre-approved "safe outputs", a design that lets agents work near a real repo without risk of uncontrolled changes — arguably the right pattern for bringing agents into production codebases.
