GitHub launches Agent HQ: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google coding agents in Copilot

At Universe 2025 GitHub announced Agent HQ, an open ecosystem that brings coding agents from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Cognition, xAI and more directly into GitHub under paid Copilot subscriptions. Highlights: a "mission control" command center to assign, steer and track multiple agents; 180M developers on the platform with 80% of new devs using Copilot in week one.
