Industry contacts report Blackwell is now more profitable than selling drugs in China: an 8-GPU server goes for RMB 16 million, triple the price four months ago. That works out to $2.4M per server or $300K per B300 — even at DeepSeek-level revenue, roughly one year to breakeven. "Compute is absurdly valuable," though throughput on B300 remains a question.
