Not every ping is a fire: designing agent escalation cards
krishnan · x · 2026-11-02
Krishnan argues you should ask an agent startup for its interruption log before its token dashboard — the real question is whether the agent can tell a decision that needs you now from an update that can wait. The attached image shows his illustrative escalation card (not an Anthropic product): a high-priority card stating the blocked decision, supporting evidence, urgency rationale and no-response consequence, with approve/keep-paused actions, while routine updates go into a digest.
