Malaysia now holds about half the EU's compute: 668k vs 1.39M H100e

Peter Wildeford shares customs-record-based estimates of cumulative chip arrivals: Malaysia has accumulated 668k H100e of compute — about half the EU's 1.39M H100e — from $11.8B in chips (398k units).
For comparison: the US sits at 19.8M H100e ($288B) and China at 2.64M H100e ($50.5B). A single Southeast Asian country now rivals the entire EU in compute scale, underscoring the EU's infrastructure lag.
