@mattpocockuk complains that AI replies on X are "astonishingly bad": he no longer reads notifications excited for interesting discussion like a conference hallway track, and instead searches for profile pictures of people he knows aren't bots. @Franc0Fernand0 adds that since starting a month ago to follow only people who reply meaningfully and aren't AI, he has followed just one person — bots keep getting harder to spot.
