Codex now lets multiple chats work on the same project and talk to each other

A user spotted that OpenAI's Codex now supports running multiple chats on the same project, with sessions able to communicate when needed.
A screenshot shows one chat detecting that another session is actively editing the same game files and requesting permission to message that chat to coordinate the merge. Cross-chat messaging requires explicit user consent, and the agent can prepare the merge while waiting.
