Dev builds playable voxel survival game Wildmere with Claude Opus 5.5 + Unity + Blender MCP
TamoghnaKabi · reddit · 2026-11-01
A developer gave Claude Code access to Unity and Blender MCP servers and had Opus 5.5 build a voxel survival game from a single prompt covering procedural terrain, biomes, mining, crafting, survival mechanics, and day/night cycles—then iterated through playtesting and bug fixing. The result, Wildmere, is a free playable game (macOS + experimental Windows) with exploration, crafting, weather, and biomes; the video shows real gameplay, not AI footage. Far from AAA quality, but it demonstrates the viability of the coding-agent + engine/MCP toolchain. Game: wildmere-game.vercel.app
