Two crashed runs led to 6 rules: repair your agent's plan file at load time
petrusenko_max · x · 2026-11-01
Max Petrusenko's WhatsApp agent crashed twice in one day — not the model, but the plan file: a KeyError on missing checkedafter and a ValueError on an event id with no date. His fix: repair the plan at load time with 6 rules — repair in both sender and builder, fill missing fields (checkedafter, jid, phone, kind, key), fix bad notbefore, derive eventdate for undated event ids, and reject only unrepairable items with per-item logging. Key principle: one bad row should lose that row, not the whole day.
