- Downloaded all HN comments, filtered with Sonnet via Claude Code Workflows, distilling 40K comments into 6,454 YouTube videos recommended on HN from 2007-2026 across 150 topics
- Features: 50%-progress thumbnails instead of clickbait, account-free personalized For You recommendations (state in local browser session), keyboard shortcuts, exportable data so your agent can build its own version
- His process: no traditional engineering at all — he only talks to Claude; manual work was limited to creating a YouTube API key, booting a VPS, and buying a domain
