Developer reverse-engineers smart home protocols into a Raspberry Pi AR app — say "Lumos" to turn on lights

Tired of juggling multiple smart device apps, a developer set up a Raspberry Pi server, reverse-engineered several device protocols, and built an AR-enabled app that lets him say "Lumos!" to turn on the lights.
So far the setup integrates smart bulbs, LED strips, an AC unit, a Bluetooth speaker, an air purifier, and several lamps — a full DIY stack combining protocol reverse engineering, a self-hosted server, and AR interaction.
