Epic has updated the Unreal Engine EULA so developers can opt in to training AI models on their UE and MetaHuman projects, including outputs from MetaHuman Creator, MetaHuman Animator, and Mesh to MetaHuman.
Epic stresses the change grants Epic no rights over developers' content or code. 3D human researcher Michael Black calls it a big step toward AI understanding of 3D humans.
