Perplexity CEO Arav Srinivas shared early evals of Google's Gemini 4 Carbon, calling it the strongest model yet for long-form research and answer quality, with a new SoTA on the Wide-And-Deep-Research (WANDR) benchmark. It will ship to all Perplexity Pro and Max users in Computer once token capacity allows. The reposter joked that the stupidity index of people who just sold their Google shares scales with Carbon's intelligence score.
