onethread: open-source tool runs Codex and Claude Code from one chat
rogymd · reddit · 2026-11-01
A developer released onethread (MIT-licensed, open source): you talk to one agent while multiple coding agents — Codex and Claude Code — work behind it, each in its own git worktree on your Mac, with nothing merging until you confirm. Features: a unified cross-repo task queue (up to 10 concurrent tasks), per-task agent selection ("run it in codex"), a start screen showing each provider's remaining usage, and confirmation gates on cancel/merge/push. It ships with a playful "king delegates to servants" persona layer, customizable via ot me. Built because managing one terminal tab per agent was exhausting.
