Indie dev ships Calm The Skies, an app that shows nervous flyers how little the plane moves

Indie developer CtrlAltDwayne shipped a cheap paid iOS app called Calm The Skies for nervous flyers, approved by Apple in record time. Its key feature uses the phone's sensors to display the plane's center of gravity, tilt, and movement in real time: lay the phone on the tray table during turbulence and see how little the aircraft is actually moving, countering the stomach-drop illusion. The app also includes breathing exercises and facts about flying and turbulence.
