LuCiD VRP: Open-Source ComfyUI Node Suite for Regional Prompting and In-Canvas Editing
EBEB__ · reddit · 2026-11-01
Reddit user EBEB released LuCiD VRP (Visual Regional Painter), a beta ComfyUI custom node suite for i2i workflows, available on Comfy Registry (installable via ComfyUI Manager) and GitHub with example workflows included.
Three components:
- Image loader: resizable latent, undo/redo with editing history, automatic latent size alignment
- Lightweight built-in image editor: layers, basic transforms, and better UX
- Regional prompting/conditioning nodes: region layouts sync visually with draft edits; currently supports Anima and MOSS-Image
The suite targets a draft-first, iterate-between-runs workflow with a deliberately concise feature set. It's the author's first substantial software project; feedback welcome.
