Per Bloomberg, Meta's $25 billion share sale went five times oversubscribed, though most shares went to existing investors — the top 15 largest stakes accounted for about 70% of the offering.
Meta upsized its equity raise from $95B to $97.5B, the largest in its history: $25B in shares, $12.5B in preferred depositary shares, and an up-to-$60B ATM program expected to start in Q1 2027. Chipmakers joined in — Nvidia is investing $3B, AMD $1B, and Broadcom is also expected to participate.
