nv-uefi-unlocker unlocks up to 75% more Tensor Core FLOPS on RTX 20/30/40 GPUs

Stas Bekman highlights nv-uefi-unlocker, an open-source (Rust, GPL-2.0, 469 stars) UEFI pre-driver unlocker that removes NVIDIA's Tensor Core compute restrictions on GTX 16 and RTX 20/30/40 cards, boosting bf16-class workloads by up to 75% FLOPS. The chain runs SEC2 scrubber → FWSEC/WPR2 → signed Booter → a V67 four-write payload with read-back verification, validated on most RTX 20/30/40 GPUs. You boot from a USB stick, it unlocks, then boots into Windows/Linux/Hackintosh or any EFI-bootable OS — no VBIOS flashing, and it reverts after a power cycle.
