claude -p burns ~1.8× more subscription quota than Claude Code TUI, Magpie switches

yetone announced Magpie's Claude Code Provider now drives the Claude Code TUI directly instead of claude -p (configurable). The trigger: GitHub issue #97074 shows headless claude -p (entrypoint sdk-cli) consumes 1.8× more of the 5-hour window than the interactive TUI for identical workloads, despite equal token usage. The TUI approach also aligns quota usage with official usage and removes ban risk from third-party detection. Anthropic has since removed the 5-hour window, but differential treatment may persist.
