Microsoft's open-source 4B agent picks clicks or bash per step, scoring 66% on OSWorld-Verified

Microsoft open-sourced a 4B agent that chooses between mouse clicks and bash commands at every step, with no router, scoring 66% on OSWorld-Verified per its model card. In their Calc demo, the 4B finished in 39 seconds via Python while a GUI-only 27B spent nearly 10 minutes clicking — picking the right tool beats model size. One caveat from commenters: bash access means you should sandbox the environment first.
