Anthropic removes Claude Ultra's 5-hour limit, keeps weekly cap
umeshonai · x · 2026-10-31
A user shared Anthropic's official email: the 5-hour rolling limit on the Claude Ultra plan (formerly Max 20x) has been removed at no price change, letting users spread their weekly usage however they like — only the weekly cap still applies. The poster jokes that technically you can now burn the whole week's quota before lunch on Monday.
