Codex 28-day challenge teases day-28 reset: OpenAI may be saving a new model for the finale
haider1 · x · 2026-10-31
On day 26 of OpenAI's 28-day Codex challenge, Thibault Sottiaux announced easy multi-account switching on mobile (desktop coming soon) and cryptically teased "the next two days will be resets... banked... do with this what you may 👀". Haider notes the challenge has delivered mostly incremental updates rather than a global reset, but the wording suggests a new model may be saved for day 28 — ideally, he says, a dirt-cheap "6.1 luna".
