Making a 10-second anime scene from character sheets with FastH3 and ComfyUI
Time-Ad-7720 · reddit · 2026-10-31
A complete workflow for turning character sheets plus a location reference into a short anime scene — a 10-second laundromat gag where Kai opens a washer, Mochi the cat gets foamed, and Niko laughs.
- Generate separate character sheets for the three characters plus an empty laundromat image with a custom Krea 2 Wulver fine-tune.
- Load all four references into ComfyUI: three define characters, one defines the environment.
- Write the prompt shot by shot — five 2-second beats with staging, expressions and hard cuts; keep the cat outside the washer as a hard constraint.
- Run FastH3 OmniRef: 8 sampling steps, 10-second target, square output.
- Review continuity: character details, splash direction, reaction timing; timestamps are direction, not guaranteed cuts.
Workflow, exact prompts and reference assets are published; the custom weights aren't included but the provided reference PNGs let you start at the animation stage.
