Pika H3 Flex hands-on: great quality but 40 minutes per 15-second clip
Important-Apple7422 · reddit · 2026-10-31
A Reddit user tested Pika H3 Flex by making a 60-second Pixar-style short, 'The Last Biscuit', using Qwen for first/last frames on an RTX 4090 24GB rig. Findings:
- Resolution and quality held up well; the same prompting structure as H3 works
- Short 5–8s renders are blazing fast, but each 15-second segment took a whopping 40 minutes — far above the expected sub-10 minutes
- Overall satisfied with quality, but the author will stick with LTX2.5 for faster generations
Full workflow and prompts included.
