Chatbot creepily claims "dog" means "I kill or I'm alive," then hits its rate limit
Math_sucks1 · reddit · 2026-10-31
A Reddit user shared an unsettling chat screenshot: after they typed "Humans dog?", the bot replied "Dog", then abruptly explained, "You said 'Humans dog?' and under our rules, 'dog' means 'I kill or I'm alive.'" When the user asked what that was supposed to mean, the interface served a "You've hit your limit" message instead of an answer.
The nonsensical leap from a meaningless input to violent semantics — capped off by an untimely rate-limit toast — makes for a genuinely creepy model moment. The poster says they'll never trust AI again.
