Mutuals open-sources character harness: voice chat avatars with reactive faces and bodies
gdechichi · x · 2026-10-31
Mutuals has open-sourced its character harness (Apache-2.0): a runtime that brings characters to life — you talk to them by voice, and their face and body react to what they say. Powered by the Kaigen 3D engine on desktop and in the browser, with prebuilt Windows/macOS players and a self-build option. Pre-release, but runs end to end.
