OpenAI investigates dictation regressions in latest Codex desktop app; GPT-6 Rosalind for life sciences

OpenAI is investigating dictation issues in the latest ChatGPT/Codex desktop app (26.1027.30824). Users report misheard words in Swedish, Russian and English, a missing live waveform, and recordings that fail to start; rolling back to the previous build reportedly fixes it, and dictation still works in Safari and ChatGPT Classic. The thread also notes a new GPT-6 Rosalind Research model (gpt-6-rosalind in the API), available only to approved life-sciences research organizations.
