Per Fortune, Cisco president Jeetu Patel has given 27-year-old engineer Padmanabhan Krishnamurthy unlimited AI tokens to try rewriting 98% of the company's legacy code within 24 months. Krishnamurthy believes a two-person team can do it — but has just four weeks to prove the approach works. The sharer calls Cisco an "unexpectedly live player" in the AI coding rewrite race.
