Epic announced the open.epic MCP, letting developers connect their agents to open.epic documentation, Playbooks, API specs and more. The site's developer terms were also updated, adding a Section 7 under "For Developers" addressing data collection requirements of the Insights Condition and Maintenance of Certification (45 CFR 170.407). Launch flows use SMART on FHIR (OAuth 2.0) for patient and MyChart user contexts.
