Supabase launches Explorer and Notebooks to unify database and log queries
dshukertjr · x · 2026-10-31
Supabase launched Explorer, a new query editor in its Dashboard (in feature preview, available to every project), alongside Notebooks:
- One editor: query both your database and your logs with SQL; results render as tables or charts, replacing the old workflow of correlating logs, usage charts, and DB reports by hand
- Notebooks: combine saved queries of various types as cells with markdown notes; they save queries rather than results, so rerunning always returns current data
- Agent-ready: run notebooks yourself or have your agent run them as part of ongoing observations; Supabase Assistant can write queries via natural language
