Open-source 9Drive merges multiple Google Drive accounts into one free 60GB virtual drive
prasenx · x · 2026-10-31
A developer open-sourced 9Drive, a self-hosted storage gateway that merges multiple Google Drive accounts (plus S3-compatible storage like Cloudflare R2, MinIO, Backblaze) into one virtual storage dashboard:
- Unified dashboard with total capacity across all accounts
- Uploads auto-route to whichever account has free space
- Cross-account virtual folders and file previews
- Files stream straight through — nothing written to the server's disk
Each Google account offers 15GB free (shared with Gmail/Photos). Apache-2.0 licensed, requires your own Google Cloud OAuth client; already at 2.8k stars on GitHub.
