Per FT, Anthropic's IPO could come as soon as November, but major credit agencies are expected to rate it 'high junk'. Blackstone told investors an investment-grade rating is unlikely immediately post-IPO and is working with banks to sell the debt on. An IG rating is 'central' to Anthropic's AI buildout — the company expects to spend over $800 billion on compute infrastructure through 2045. Debt markets are in focus as AI funding tightens.
