Mischief launches video model trained from lab-grown brain cells at 0.5¢ per second
evilsocket · x · 2026-10-31
A startup says it has turned four years of research on real neurons grown on electrodes into mischief 1, a commercially available image-to-video model. Priced at 0.5¢ per second, it claims to be at least 5x faster than its base model and the cheapest image-to-video option on fal and OpenRouter, with an AWS Marketplace listing coming soon. The team frames it as proof that biocompute is real and commercial.
