Nvidia's ACIE segment could overtake hyperscalers in 2-6 quarters, analyst estimates

IO Fund's back-of-napkin math suggests Nvidia's ACIE (enterprise/neocloud) segment could overtake hyperscaler revenue in 2-6 quarters, making Nvidia's revenue more resilient as hyperscalers shift capex to custom chips.
- ACIE grew 138.5% YoY last quarter vs 101.2% for hyperscalers; QoQ 25% vs 13% after reclassification
- Conservative case: 5-6 quarters at 14% vs 10% QoQ; as soon as 2 quarters if Q2 pace holds (chart projects ACIE at $66.2B in Q1 FY28, a $1.4B lead)
- Dell agrees: enterprises and neoclouds could drive half of AI data center capacity growth through 2030 — a $1T TAM, with AI at 75% of data center demand and 200GW added
- Rationale: these customers can't splurge on custom chips and want ready-to-deploy servers online in 6 hours to 1 day, Dell/Super Micro's sweet spot
