Dev calls GitHub Actions' 99.3% uptime SLA a lie, does the math
ctjlewis · x · 2026-10-31
Developer @ctjlewis accused GitHub Actions' claimed 99.3% uptime over the last 90 days of being "a complete lie," arguing such SLAs are scams that underreport both the severity and duration of outages. He did the math: if today's outage alone were accurately reported, the real availability would only hit 99.3% even with zero other outages in the period.
